Janina Fialkowska talks about and plays a Chopin Waltz on an 1848 Pleyel grand piano

Janina Fialkowska talks about and plays a Chopin Waltz on an 1848 Pleyel grand piano used in concert with Toronto’s Tafelmusik orchestra in October, 2010. Video by John Terauds, Toronto Star, Oct. 4, 2010.

This is really interesting- Janina talks about the differences between this antique piano and today’s and treats us to a performance of  Chopin’s Waltz in C sharp major, Op. 64, no 2.
