“Hurdy Gurdy” Barrel Organ, 1900.

Here is a charming  vintage postcard of a Hurdy Gurdy Man, from Talwrn, Angesley, 1900. On top of the Barrel Organ there are what looks like 3 puppets, which I presume moved to the music.  This must have been great entertainment for the children in the photograph!

I wonder if the buildings in the photograph are still there….and if so what they are used for now.
