Mozart – Rondo in a minor KV 511 – Gerard van Reenen, fortepiano

This fortepiano was built by Maene (Ruiselede, Belgium), after J.L. Dulcken (Munich, 1793). This instrument resembles the forte-pianos of Stein. It is double strung, has a compass of 5 octaves (FF – f3) and has 2 knee levers for dampers and muting.. This Rondo was composed by Mozart in Vienna in the year 1787
