    To be honest, I rather prefer to hear mr. schiff or mr. Trifonov playing Beethoven, although the girl is a good performer. But I think L.v.B. would not be pleased by this perfomance!

    • It’s not my style either- if you have seen any more of my blog you’ll see that I’m into period instruments, so I prefer this played on a fortepiano above all. That said, I posted this to acknowledge the talent of this teenager- yes she’s about 18(!)- and to show that Beethoven’s music is translatable into other styles- here metal. What Beethoven himself would think of it I don’t know!
