I used this vintage mini figurine of an 18th century lady to create the scene of a tragic bride whose ghost haunts an old mansion.
Done with gouache paints, inspired by Greensleeves, evoking a cottage garden on a warm summer’s day.
Inspired by the 18th variation of Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini
This is a response to the Raindrop Prelude by Chopin.

Miss Havisham paper doll/figurine
The Muse: paper figurine glued into a heart shaped tin. Inspired by the idea of classical composers/musicians and the Muse who helps them bring their music to life.

I made this friar/monk out of vintage book pages, and painted him with acrylic paints. He’s glued onto a piece of wood that was also covered with book pages. The scene is a ruined old priory and he is a ghost haunting it.
